Airliner Storage & Disassembly at Stuttgart Airport in Arkansas

The Stuttgart Municipal Airport (SGT) is located in Prairie County Arkansas, 8 miles north of the city of Stuttgart. Located 14 miles south of I-40, the airport is 46 miles east of Little Rock, and 85 miles west of Memphis, Tennessee.

The airport is owned and operated by the City. It was originally built in 1942 as an advanced twin-engine flying school and glider training facility for the U.S. Army Air Forces.

The airport occupies a 2,560 acre site, and features runways 18/36 at 6,015 feet in length, and 9/27 at 5,002 feet. Runway 18 has NDB approach, and a WAAS GPS approach. Runway 36 has a ILS precision and a WAAS GPS approach. There is a VOR-DME circling approach to all runways also.

The airport fueling facilities consist of 100LL and Jet Fuel supplied by Phillips 66.

A commercial airliner storage and parts reclamation facility is operated at the Stuttgart Airport by CAVU Aerospace.
